you're quietly right. the animated series of batman, were the best adapatation of batman ever created to my mind. as soon as i can, i think i will by the volume (is it the good word?) in dvd,to watch theme again, and discover other episode! ( i love the yellow circled icon of batman, but the unyellow-circled icon sucks to my mind...)

I definately agree that the older cartoon is better than the Japanese one. I don't like the character designs at all and why do they take out characters from the comics and stick in ones that have nothing to do with it? I'm especially disappointed in the Riddler's design. I liked him, but in this new one he looks like a freaky hippy.
Anyway, yes, I like your pic of Batman and I love the red.

I too liked the animated series. I liked it when I was alot younger as well, but now I'm old enough to fully understand the plots and work out the evil plans before Batman explains them.

I agree with you! The Batman is nothing against the old WB BMTAS production.
When I see this kung fu monkey Joker of "The Batman" I always ask myself: "Where is the good old classic Joker? He had much more style than this monkey face!". I mean the Joker of TAS was freaky enough! It's not necassery to give him monkey style kung fu powers... I can't take that new joker serious... and "The Batman" as well.
The Wayne Manor was awsome in TAS, at those cliffs close to the sea^^. In "The Batman" it looks cheap and shabby, no cliffs and no sea so all the ambient is gone!. And what about Mr.Freeze? He just looks like a mob from Yu-Gi-Oh! Not like the cold dispaired, lonely scientist who had an accident in his labor and lost his wife.
I also wonder where the good old Bullock is!
Man... I rather watch some TAS episodes now before suffer more from that questions ^_^.

You can't beat the greatness that is Batman TAS through Justice League Unlimited. You also can't beat Kevin Conroy's Batman voice.

Agreed... OR Mark Hamill's "Joker" voice, either... "The Batman" is just dumbed down and violenced up for the kiddies.
